Every day seems like a balance tipping on a scale. One day may be leaning to one side, and another to the opposite. It's becoming seemingly more difficult to balance the scale.

In these past few weeks, I am constantly reminded about having a good balance. Even if that balance just means having a set time to work, and a time to relax. It's important to maintain that balance, even when it may be very busy or stressful.

Since my last progress update, I have gained another interview. With Mr. Buls, I was able to learn much more insight about the field from him. We were able to discuss about the current Cybersecurity landscape, so I was able to hear from Mr. Buls, as he directly manages the Cybersecurity team at GXA. It gave another type of experience as I learned about the Cybersecurity workforce through a professional working in the field, other than when we learn through Research Assessments, which still gives insightful information in a different method.

I was able to put into practice many of the skills we learned in ISM from these past few months. During my interview recently with Mr. Buls, I was able to see much of my growth since my first interview. I believe we were able to make it very conversational (which is something that I've aimed to have in an interview), and I was able to learn about Mr. Buls unique experiences.

From my interview, I will implement many of the tips and recommendations that Mr. Buls gave to me. He showed me a Youtuber that he enjoys watching in his spare time, and recommended to me that it would be a good source to learn more about Cybersecurity. He also suggested having internships or small jobs, so I have decided to look more into committing to getting a job over the next summer. I also learned from Mr. Buls about having certifications and communication, which I will continue to work my communication and professionalism skills in ISM as we dive deeper into the curriculum.
